1. What cookies are
Cookies and similar tools, such as the browser’s localStorage and pixels, are small files or pieces of information that the site stores on or reads from your device. Some are needed to make the site work. Others are used to collect statistics or to measure the results of advertising, and these require your consent.

With the Marketing consent we use Meta and Google to measure how many visits and purchases come from campaigns and, through Google Signals, to build audience segments in Google Ads. Without this consent we do not use cookies for advertising purposes. For collection through Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API we are joint controllers with Meta Platforms Ireland: the details are in the Privacy Policy (section 5).

4. The apps
The VolleyballScout and VolleyballScoutVideo apps use identifiers stored on the device, such as the Google Analytics identifier and the advertising ID, which, except for the necessary ones, are subject to your consent. The apps ask for it at the first launch on Android, iOS and macOS, and you can change it at any time from the “Privacy” entry in the app settings. On Windows and Linux the apps do not collect this data. The tools used in the apps (Firebase Crashlytics, Google Analytics, Meta SDK, Google Signals) are described in the Privacy Policy (section 3).
5. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy, for example if we change the tools we use. The date of the last update is always shown at the top.
